OffPeakly is designed to work without user accounts. If you create an email alert, we store your email address, selected region, alert type, and alert settings so we can send the alert you requested.

Data we do not collect in V1
- No account password
- No postcode
- No smart meter readings
- No Octopus account API key
- No payment details
How we use data
We use stored alert details to send the specific alert you requested, operate unsubscribe links, and troubleshoot delivery or application issues. We do not use alert signups as a general-purpose account system.
Email alerts
Alerts require email confirmation. Unverified alerts do not send. Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe without creating an account.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use non-essential cookies in V1. If analytics or advertising cookies are added later, this policy will be updated and consent controls will be added where required.

Some pages may include affiliate or referral links. If you click one of these links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Data retention and your choices
Alert records are kept while the alert is active. Unsubscribed alerts may be retained in a suppressed state to prevent further emails. Server logs are retained for operational debugging and security.
You can unsubscribe from alerts at any time and stop future email delivery without creating an account.
