Preferences stay in your browser

OffPeakly uses local browser storage and small cookies to remember settings such as theme, selected region, price thresholds, dashboard layout, and analytics consent.

These values keep the tools usable between visits. They do not give OffPeakly access to your Octopus account, smart meter credentials, or payment details.

Optional analytics

Analytics only runs after consent

Google Analytics stays off unless analytics is enabled for the site and you accept optional analytics.

If you accept, analytics can use cookies or similar browser storage to measure aggregate page and tool usage.

Alert tokens, email addresses, CSV files, Octopus API keys, and personal energy usage data are not sent to analytics.

You can change or clear local data

Use Privacy settings in the footer to change analytics consent.

You can also clear OffPeakly site data in your browser. That resets local preferences, saved form defaults, and analytics consent on this device.
